The Vineyards at Fredericksburg RV Park, Fredericksburg, Texas

The Vineyards is a new-ish park just north/west of town on 87. There’s good and bad with that. There’s a pool, hot tub and fitness room and a huge open green space in the center of the park.

However, the upper third of the park is on a slope and many sites there could have used a bit more work to get level. The traffic noise from the highway seems to spill down the hill. Wi-Fi antennas were plentiful but many were on posts below the roofline of the average fifth wheel. We were only two sites away from an antenna but could not keep a connection. Each site has a small concrete pad with an even smaller picnic table and for some reason, your sewer connection is less than a foot from your neighbor’s table. There will some day be shade from the trees between sites. Until then, the only shade is from the dandelions. Oh, let’s not forget the ants…

Downtown is very close. H-E-B and Walmart are just a bit farther. Verizon and AT&T were both good. Mimimal cable is provided. Due to the lack of trees satellite reception is easy.
