Sunrise RV Park, Kingman, Arizona

We went north from Lake Havasu City, which put us on old Route 66 into Oatman.

Oatman is an old mining town. When the mines closed, a few folks managed to hang on, and now it is a tourist attraction. By far the most interesting residents are wild burros which wander the street. A few stores sell bags of burro snacks, but Deb discovered they also like carrots.

After leaving Oatman, we continued on Route 66 through some hair-raising curves and mountains. We were happy to reach the flatlands and hop on I-40 to Kingman. We visited the Route 66 museum, then settled down for the night.
