First, let me say that this park is a beautiful place. Let me also say that Stephen Foster was never here. It is a tribute to Foster and as such it is a great example of the old Florida tourism industry before the commercialization of today.
If you want to see what this flavor of old Florida was like, it is absolutely worth a stop.
The campground is three loops of large private sites. Clean facilities and hot showers seal the deal. The museum, carillon and all the rest are within easy walking of the campsites.
