The day was so warm and sunny that we couldn’t resist a stroll through the Raulston arboretum. it’s a long narrow strip of land with a walkway down the center. The sides are nicely separated into themed garden rooms, giving the illusion of a much more spacious garden. The Japanese garden and Asian plant area were particularly beautiful and peaceful. The visitor center had a heavily planted roof garden which afforded nice views of the arboretum. We even saw camellias in bloom!
