Old campground with no convenient access to the lake and day-use facilities. We didn’t see many sites that could be considered level enough for us. We were four blocks high on the lowest corner and still not there. Most would be better for trailers and tents.
Bathrooms were FRP panels, clean and bright. Showers had plenty of hot water and were moderately spacious for an older state park. Staff was friendly and helpful and made frequent patrols through the campground.
Great Verizon cell service but OTA TV was spotty at best and satellite would have been impossible given the tree cover (not that that was a bad thing).
