This campground is a conundrum. On the positive side, the folks in the office were quite nice and helpful with check in and information about the area. There was a small pool and a game room for kids. On the other hand, the facilities were quite old and needed a great deal of help. The pool had an unmistakable green cast. The bathrooms were in terrible shape and beyond filthy. The voltage at our post went as low 108 volts. We gave up trying to run our air conditioner.
The sites were mostly level but the unmowed areas were thick with what appeared to be poison ivy. Cell service was adequate but not great. Groceries and just about anything else you might need was about fifteen minutes away.
