This campground is located on Lake Nasworthy southwest of San Angelo. The sites are reasonably well spaced, and the managers are very pleasant and helpful.
The highlight of this stop was the so-called KOA trail, a popular loop on less traveled roads with great views of the lake. Lots of people were out walking, some with young kids and babies in strollers. We thoroughly enjoyed looking at the lake houses and the water.
The chance to do laundry was also a big plus.
