Only two miles by crow and about 10 minute by shuttle bus, this is the most convenient campground to use as a base for visiting the World’s Largest RV Show. You have your choice here with cabins, sites up on the hill or down by the water, shade or sun, pull-through or back-in. That being said, we asked for a site on the shady side by Swatara Creek in Lazy River section. While it was shady, it was also small and crammed in next to the bathrooms at an odd angle. We would not choose or accept these sites again.
The campground is quite large and nice for walking around in the evenings. There’s a camp store, several pools, playgrounds. Bathrooms were good, not spectacular. Trains are close and frequent.
