First, the good news. About half of the RV sites at First Landing back up on the dunes along the beach. The bad news is that some of the sites have enough loose sand to strand an RV. We were not but it wasn’t for lack of trying. Sites are not assigned when you make reservations so you get to pick your site when you check in. Check the sand before pulling anything of size into your site. Aside from that, this is another beautiful park with a great beach. A wonderful spot to watch the steady lineup of container ships waiting to come in and go out.
Showers were hot-ish and clean.
Another downside was, shall we say, evidence, from dogs that was left behind on the beach. I don’t know if dogs are welcome during off-season times or not but it isn’t the dog’s fault. It’s the owner who shouldn’t be allowed on the beach.
We joined Bob’s cousins, John and Sue, at the Dockside for a great dinner.
