Nice campground on Lake Erie with spacious, level sites. Not much in the way of vegitation between sites, though. Bathrooms were clean with plenty of hot water. Good deal of work was being done on the beach. It was quite chilly so that really wasn’t a problem. We had intended to visit some of the Frank Lloyd Wright properties but the wind convinced us to make other plans. Since Bob had never been to Niagara Falls, we decided on that but we had to wait until the next day when we have better weather.
Sun and warmer temperatures greeted us in the morning and we were off to Niagara Falls. There was a bike race in town so parking was a problem but we eventually found a spot within walking distance of the park. We waited about twenty minutes for tickets to the Cave of the Winds and the best we could do was another hour and a half until our time to hit the elevator. We hiked around until our time and then got to experience the hurricane deck. Well named!
