Catalina State Park, Tucson, Arizona

Back to Catalina again; we really enjoy this park. We chilled out and did some short hikes on the nature trail and the birding trail. We were treated to a nice double rainbow at sunset.

Saguaro National Park
This park is located on both sides of Tucson. We visited the Tucson Mountain district to the west of the city. We stopped at the visitor center, then walked on the Desert Experience trail, a short trail with interpretive signs. We  drove the Bajada Loop Drive, which is a very good unpaved road. Partway along the drive is the Signal Hill Picnic Area, with a short hike to see petroglyphs at the top of a rocky hill.
