Jersey Shore Haven is an Airstream-only campground about 20 miles north of Cape May, quintessential New Jersey beach resort town. Our campground stay was a perk from Colonial Airstream where we purchased our Interstate. We were met by a number of friendly folks who all offered suggestions for a first-timer’s don’t miss list. Due to weather (rain and wind) we limited our choices to a trolly tour, the Promenade and the zoo.
In between weather events we spent an afternoon wandering the streets rubbernecking at the architecture. The trolly tour was a great way to get an introduction to the area and the real surprise was the zoo. We spent about an hour walking the Promenade but finally had to give up because of the weather. And our timing was perfect for catching the tail end of the Mutt Strutt. Sorry!
