As you are about to enter Space Center Houston, it’s hard to miss Independence Plaza, which just opened two days ago. We went inside both the replica shuttle and the very real 747 which is now exhibit space. Very cool!
On the tram tour we stopped at the Apollo Mission Control, Space Capsule Mockup Facility where NASA does astronaut training before missions and troubleshooting if required during missions.
There are models of most of the space station modules as seen above. Also, the new Orion capsule (not shown), the SEV rover and Robonaut below.
